3:00 PM Pioneer Park Theater – Civic Center
Doors at 7:00 PM Palace Theater
Fearless front-woman Derina Harvey leads this Alberta-based Celtic-rock act, who offer an authentic east-coast experience with a fresh take on traditional tunes as well as their own original jigs and reels. Their rocky, rhythmic undertow is layered with guitars, fiddle, and topped by Derina’s powerful voice. Recent recipients of the People’s Choice Award at the 2018 Edmonton Music Awards, these transplanted east-coasters have earned a reputation with their high-energy live show, leaving many an audience out-of-breath and hollering from their seats!
Anne says: I first saw Derina at the Arts NW booking conference, we watched 43 showcases in 2.5 days and they won the showcase award. What I wrote in my notes was simply “SO. MUCH. FUN!!!!!”
Derina has an awesome voice and the band is tight and high-energy, but what really makes the show is Derina as front-woman. Fearless… and yes, so much fun!
It took us a while to get it all figured out but we’re so glad we did. We really wanted something for our Celtic music fans and our Delta audience.
We’ll offer three events with Derina.
