Jessica
Rae White and Eric Bryant Washington were married the evening of May 20,
2011, at the Fairmont Kea Lani Pacific Terrace, overlooking the Pacific
Ocean in Wailea, Hawaii. Reverend Ramsey Anakalea performed the double-ring
ceremony.

Jessica (Killough) DiCini, 1993 DHS graduate, and Shawn Olsen plan to marry
on October 8th in Spring, TX.

Julian and Liam are now 10 months old!! There are the twins of Paul and
Sparrow (Chavez) Ferreira. They are both crawling now but in two different
directions keeping Mom and Dad very busy but loving every minute! Photos

Katie Johnson and Steve Breci of Anchorage were married Sept. 5 at Alpenglow
Ski Lodge in the Arctic Valley. They were married by family friend Mike
Rawalt, also a former Delta Jct. resident.
Katie is the daughter of David and Linda Johnson of Anchorage. Katie
graduated from Delta Junction High School in 1998 and the University of
Alaska Anchorage in 2003. She currently works for the Alaska Railroad Corp.
Steve is the son of Mark Breci of Eagle River, and Monica and Jeff Vincent
of Omaha, Neb. He graduated from Chugiak High School and currently works for
the Municipality of Anchorage as an equipment operator with the
International Brotherhood of Operating Engineers, Local 302.
Attending the bride as her maids of honor and representing the DHS alumni
for the group were Julie Horschel (Stephens) and Michelle (Sharp) and
daughter
Grace, Celeste Horschel and Nevaeh Glass were the flower girls.
Katie and Steve honeymooned in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

Mike Shetler, Class of 02, was promoted to Staff Sgt. on June 1. This
was done right before he deployed to Afghanistan for a year.

Mike and his cousin Silvia Peckham. Silvia is Donna and Dick Peckham's
granddaughter. Her father, Scott Peckham, is also a DHS graduate.

Lael Echo-Hawk, a DHS graduate, will be standing with dignitaries behind
the seated dignitaries at the Inauguration. She should have a visual, historic
vantage point of the proceedings. She is planning on going to an Indian
Inaugural ball and will join the National Prayer Breakfast. Lael is a University
of Washington BA & Doctor of Law graduate. She is serving as a tribal attorney
with the Tulalip Tribe in Everett, Washington. She is a daughter of Howard and
Yvonne Echo-Hawk and Sam and Chaddie Kelly's granddaughter.

Clint & Lisa Crusberg of Delta Jct., Alaska are pleased to announce the marriage
of their only daughter Jennifer to Kyle Smith, eldest son of Robert & Tracy
Smith of Hampton, Georgia. The two met in Alaska while Kyle was stationed at
Eielson Air Force Base and Jennifer was attending the University of Alaska
Fairbanks. After months of dating and new assignment orders, the couple
re-located to Louisiana. The wedding ceremony took place at Holy Trinity
Catholic Church in Shreveport, LA on October 18th, 2008. The reception was held
at the Barksdale Air Force Base Officer's club in Bossier City, LA where the
couple is currently stationed. Family and friends attended from as far away as,
New Mexico, Alaska, Georgia and Illinois. Following their wedding, the couple
went on a week long cruise to the Caribbean stopping in Mexico, Jamaica and the
Cayman Islands. They now reside in Bossier City, LA and plan on starting a
family.

Thomas and Brandi Atwell announce the arrival of son Jhanson Hutch Atwell born
Oct. 28th. He weighed 9lbs and 11oz., and was born at Fairbanks Memorial
Hospital. He has a big brother named Devlin Thomas and their family now lives in
North Pole. Thomas is employed as a tankerman working for Sea Coast. This is

My
name is Chris Cody. I went to DHS from 92'-94' I was one semester short
of graduating when my father was stationed in Alabama... I've been in
the south since. I work as a union electrician here in Birmingham. IBEW
local 136.

We are pleased to announce the birth of twins to Andrew (DHS Class of

Afghanistan. The welcome ceremony when they came in.

Danielle Palmer and Jimmy Terry were married on Saturday, July 25 on the
front lawn at Delta Christian Center. The reception followed
shortly after the ceremony under a big blue and white tent. The day was
absolutely gorgeous, very little wind, and lots of sunshine. The couple
will be going back to Anchorage where they are both currently employed.

Former Delta residents, Nick and Kay [of Nickays Country Garden] would like to
announce the engagement of their daughter Tawnee to Alex Bushyhead. Tawnee and
Alex plan to get married in Nick and Kay's backyard Aug. 28th at 7:00 in the

Center and Alex is in the National Guard, and is working as a mechanic right

Billy, Kevin, and Tim re-enacted the Varsity Drag, which they performed during a
1975 pep rally and was captured for the 1975 school album.

Paul and Sparrow (Chavez) Ferreira welcome their first babies into the
world twin boys, Liam and Julian on April 21st 2009 at Providence
Hopsital where they stayed for the first month of their life. Julian
weighted 4lbs 1 oz and Liam weighted 3lbs 13oz. They came two months
early and had a little rough start but are now doing well at home in

Amy Vander Zwaag (Delta High 2004) is thrilled to announce her engagement to
Justin Slocum of Trenton, Michigan. The couple met while interviewing for a
leadership position on the Barnabas Team at Calvin College in 2006. Both
received a position and the rest is history! Amy is currently in her first year
teaching second grade at Manhattan Christian near Bozeman, Montana. Justin is
working as a software engineer for IBM in Endicott, New York. The couple is
planning a July wedding in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Amy Vander Zwaag is the
daughter of Jerry and Kathleen Vander Zwaag.

Zach and Lana Knight's wedding on December 20, 2008. Lana is the daughter of Bob
and Debbie Green and is a 2006 DHS graduate.

Rance and Angela Lentz (class of 97) family welcome their new son. Rance Robert
was born on 12/2/2008. He weighed 7 lbs 11 ozs and was 20 1/2 inches long.

I recently went to New Zealand for a show/contest called WOW the World Of
WearableArt.
This even is the Worlds Largest Wearable Art show in the world! I spent over two
years off and on on my entries. At the end of September I went to go view this
event a week and a half ago
The entire time there in NZ I had such a good time. I met so many nice, cool
people, and was SO Impressed with the way life is in New Zealand. Very different
