Delta Junction Aerial Photos

The color image is "false color infrared."   Red tones are warmest.  Dark tones are cold.  Water shows blue.   Red forest cover is typically aspens and birches.  Dark forest areas are mostly spruce.  The photo was taken in August, 1980.

The black and white photo was taken in the late 1950's or early 1960's and was taken from above Jarvis Creek.
