Many Delta people visit the Delta News Web daily or even more frequently. We know many who use the Delta News Web as the page that their browser opens when it starts.  During July 2008, our server served 1,500 visits daily on average, and around 1,000 views of the home page each day. Most of our readers are from the Delta/Ft. Greely area. 

There are four basic advertising types: 1) Sponsor ads; 2) rotating banner ads; 3) hosted web pages, and 4) classified ads.  Please email or call (907) 895-4919 for more information about these.

Advertising Rates

1. Sponsor ads 

This is your most visible advertising mechanism for reaching the Delta market. These advertisements will usually be shown over 500 times per day, every day. The rate is $192 per year….just $16 per month.
Here's what you get:

• A simple and effective 125 X 125 pixel graphic advertisement that is visible in rotation on most pages of the website, as at right.  The advertisements change each time the page is viewed (press refresh and watch the advertisements change).

• Your ad will link to your existing website, or, if you don't have a website, I can provide a simple hosted web page(s) for you.

• If you would like to have a sponsor advertisement on the Delta community information website, the cost is an additional $52 per year for each category, and includes a banner ad on both websites AND a text advertisement in the business directory. 

2. Hosted web pages

Here is an inexpensive solution for your first World Wide Web site. You will be charged a hosting fee of $156 per year for one to ten pages. Here's what you get:

• Your address would be www.alaska-highway.org/delta/<yourbusinessname>

• I can provide a domain name pointer for an additional charge of $43 for the first two years. You could have, for example,  www.<yourbusinessname>.com which would automatically direct visitors to www.alaska-highway.org/delta/<yourbusinessname> For an example see www.alaskatoughtrailers.com  Not all names are available; check with us to see how your name can be put on the web.

• If you provide text and photos, we will design the first page for $195. That includes your first year of hosting. Additional pages can be added. Our design fee is $66 per hour.

• Hosting is $156 per year -- just $13 per month (for up to ten pages).

• Customers with hosted web pages can add sponsor ads for an additional $100. First year hosted web page and DNW sponsorship is $295. Thereafter, the price is $256 per year. Changes are billed at $66 per hour.

3. Classified ads

Non commercial classified ads with fewer than 80 words are free! Ads larger than 80 words and commercial ads will cost the following: $9/week, $27/month, $49/three months. Hyperlinks are permitted. At this time, I can only accept cash or checks.  Non commercial advertisements can only be accepted via the submission form (no telephone calls or FAXes, please).
