Evonne Sue Stiffler, 69 of Lansing, Michigan, passed away on June 4, 2016 unexpectedly from a short battle of cancer.
Evonne was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on September 18, 1946. She graduated from Everett High School.
Evonne was married to Douglas Calvin Stiffler on June 26, 1965; they were married 43 years. Together they resided in Lansing Michigan, Delta Junction Alaska and Ocala Florida.
Evonne worked as a full time mother raising her 5 children. She was devoted to her Christian faith; enjoyed gardening, reading and writing to her numerous pen pals.
Evonne is survived by 4 daughters, Tonya Valentine, Teresa (David Wisser husband) Wisser, Tina (Hiram Vargas husband) Vargas, Tasha (Bill Moses husband) Moses. Grandchildren Kierea Moses, Adriana Vargas, Seth Moses, Zoe Vargas, and loving partner Robert Nelson.
Evonne is preceded in death by Mother Marguerite Hansen, and husband Douglas Calvin Stiffler along with her son Todd Douglas Stiffler.
The funeral service was held on June 7, 2016 at the Herrmann Funeral Home, in Fowlerville Michigan. Committal service followed after the service at the Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville, MI.
