It is getting cold again and you want to keep your car warm when it sits all day in the cold. FGA has installed Intelligent Parking Lot Controllers (IPLC) in almost every parking spot and they do save us energy. Please take the time to read the attached literature that explains how an IPLC works
Quick Start Guide –
When you initially plug-in there is a two hour delay before it starts (it assumes your engine is warm and will cool off)
The light on your side of the plug-in must be steady green to show it is working.
Fast blinking green light is usually cured by unplugging and re-plugging all your connections.
The plugs will not support motorized connections (i.e. pump coolant heaters) because their initial startup is above the rated wattage for the unit.
There are special profiles that can be programmed for diesel vehicles by calling the service order desk 873-3188. Most service calls on these units are because the GFCI opened and needs reset. If you call for service please note the number of the unit that is stamped on the top.
