The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Glennallen Field Office is requesting interest letters or phone calls from any party interested in pursuing a Federal contract for campground and boat launch janitorial services for the summer of 2016. The contract work would occur May – September, with the option to renew for 2 subsequent summers.
The campground and boat launch janitorial contract would service Tangle Lakes, Paxson Lake, Sourdough Creek and the Delta River Wayside. Janitorial services require garbage removal, cleaning, and resupply of 48 bear-proof garbage cans, 2 – 3 times per week, depending on condition and visitation. All garbage must be disposed of at a DEC approved facility at the cost of the contractor. Garbage bags and cleaning supplies will be provided by the BLM.
The contract would also include outhouse cleaning for 18, 2-sided outhouse units, 2 – 3 times per week, depending on condition and visitation. Outhouse cleaning includes walls, floors, and stool assembly inside and out, and restocking of toilet paper. The BLM will provide cleaning supplies and toilet paper.
