You are cordially invited to spend an evening making home-made,
hand-made music with the Delta NOTEWORTHY POLARPICKERS on Saturday,
June 7. We will gather at 6 P.M. in the firestation across from and
behind the older engine barn now being dismantled. Call 895 4104 with
questions or for further details.
Your hosts for this event are the White family–Daddy Tony, Mama
Amber, Kaycee, Tessa and Little Tony.
This is an acoustic instrument centered, family-friendly event–if you
love making music, if you play, sing, listen, have children, then we
welcome you! Bring a 6pack of soft drinks, a tray of horse doovers, a
crock pot if you wish–NOT MANDATORY! Come and meet us, and bring
your guitar, banjo, harmonica, unkulele fiddle, dobro, dulcimer,
fiddle, AND YOUR VOICE and good spirits!
Songbooks will be furnished containing (hopefully) familiar material,
with chord accompaniment clearly indicated. We can add material to
the book at any time, if you provide a lyric sheet with chords, and
are willing to teach us.
Socializing and music making with supportive friends and local
musicians. No membership dues, no competition, no one-upmanship, no
boom boxes, no amplifiers, no drum sets, no sales pitches, no hidden
agendas–just musical fellowship and sharing. Try it–you’ll like it!
And stay tuned for news and announcements about concerts featuring
musicians from out of town. Remember, call 895 4104 if you have
questions–see ya there!
