AUSTIN—January 14, 2014—The Pedal South team is only months away from an early summer departure to begin their two-year journey down the Pan-American highway, spanning the entire Western Hemisphere. As a fully self-supported cycling documentary crew, these five young men will travel over 18,000 miles from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina capturing every inch of story and adventure along the way. Their unique ride will allow for a fully interactive audience to engage and participate with the team and even influence aspects of the ride throughout all of North, Central, and South America by means of various social media outlets and multiple formats of storytelling.
