This year we have many places for tricks and treats.
A note from the The Delta Chamber of Commerce: We would like to help you plan out your way to a safe and Happy Halloween. On Thursday October 31st 2013 many local businesses will be handing out candy to Trick or Treaters.
We have compiled a list of those businesses, so you can know for sure where the best Trick or Treats can be found. And it gets even better, when you Trick or Treat at your favorite businesses you also pick up a sticker. Bring those stickers by the Delta Junction Visitor Center, and you can put your name into a drawings for Awesome Prizes!
The Visitor Center is handing out Candy for these businesses: Which means 1 Stop gets you 5 Stickers!
Delta News Web would like to thank everyone who has contributed to make this a safe and happy Halloween for our community to enjoy. I have taken the opportunity to revise all of the information that has been turned into the Delta News Web and have compiled it to a word document or a PDF file. Please take the time to print it out and take it with you. The print out will all fit onto one page printed out.
Note: ***If you see a pumpkin beside the business, remember to pick up your sticker for the Chamber of Commerce drawings. The bold print times are starting times for each business. Beside each business will be the time they are handing out treats. Enjoy your Halloween day and remember to keep your children safe. Some of our tots are tiny and a vehicle cannot see them when backing up, and remember the daylight is getting shorter so there will be a lot of children running around in the darkness.
Listed below is a sample of what you will see on your list when you print it out. All of the events taking place and what time they will start and end.
Thank you Delta Chamber of Commerce, all businesses that are participating, Kings Chapel, North Haven, Delta Junction Fired Department, and all the residents in the Delta/Greely community that are leaving their porch lights on to welcome your children to their homes for treats
